The pearl of the Euganean Hills
Less than 10 km away from The Agritourism Le Muraglie we find one of the most beautiful oldtown in Italy.
Arqua Petrarca is rich in history and stunning glimpses. A walk in the upper part of the town carries you to 300s directly.
This pearl on the slopes of the Euganean hills has been the home of one of the three fathers of the Italian language. The poet Francesco Petrarca, who chose the city to spend in the last years of his life.
Among places of interest, we find the tiny Costa lake, a UNESCO heritage. Thanks to the proved presence of prehistoric settlements on site.
